When you make a contribution to the Meals on Wheels Foundation, you're investing in a better life for the elderly and disabled in your community. You become a partner with the Foundation not only in providing nutritious meals, but in enabling frail homebound seniors to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Most Meals on Wheels recipients are asked to make a voluntary, confidential contribution to defray their meal costs. However, the generosity of Western New Yorkers ensures that no needy senior is denied service because he/she is unable to pay. Gifts to the Foundation also ensure that this vital community service will continue and will expand to help serve those in areas where meal-delivery programs aren’t yet available.

GIVING OPTIONS
The Meals on Wheels Foundation of WNY depends on the ongoing support of friends, recipients and their caregivers. You may contribute to the Foundation in any of the following ways:

Gifts of cash help support our program, which faces an annual funding gap. Your cash contributions help us pay for everything from raw food products and equipment to training for our staff and upkeep on our facility.

You are welcome to make a contribution commemorating an important life in the event of a loved one.  In this case, we will notify the honoree if desired.

You also can make a gift "In Memory of" a loved one who has recently passed or on the anniversary of a loved one's passing.

Payroll Deduction.  You can make a pledged gift through your company's payroll deduction program. You can designate some or all of your United Way, Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), and State Employee Federated Appeal (SEFA) gift to Meals on Wheels for WNY.

Corporate Matching Gift.  Ask your Human Resources officer if your company matches charitable gifts. If so, the corporation will match any gift that you make to Meals on Wheels for WNY, effectively doubling it.
